On a recent episode of Shaq’s podcast, The Big, he went on to talk about the possibility of Kobe returning to the NBA or the Big3 league.
Although Big 3 co-founder Ice Cube still holds hope for Kobe to come to the Big3 league, it is unlikely as Bryant has rejected the offers multiple times. Shaq weighed in on the discussion by saying that “he will never go to the Big 3 before he does the NBA.”
He went on to mention Kobe’s mentality and how game-ready he always has been. “Everybody knows who Kobe is. You’re telling me Kobe can’t give somebody a nice 15 to 20 minutes a game?”
In the newest episode of The Big Podcast, @SHAQ says there’s no way @kobebryant would join @thebig3 before returning to the @NBA

However, if Kobe did come back into the game, it would be huge news. Shaq reciprocated these sentiments by saying, “If he came back at 40 then the announcement would be the biggest sports announcement in history. Everybody would be talking about it. He wouldn’t even need to play great, just come play 15 to 20 minutes a game as a Laker…and if they happen to do well, it would probably be one of the greatest stories in NBA history. And Kobe likes stuff like that, that’s all I’m saying.”
Los Angeles would of course love to see the Black Mamba return for another season, but that would only be up to him at this point.
