Iconic singer, Erykah Badu is joining Taraji P. Henson onscreen for a new romantic comedy, “What Men Want.”
Henson shared the news of Badu’s new actress role in a recent post on Instagram.
The cast also includes notable names like: Tracy Morgan, Wendi McLendon-Covey, and Max Greenfield, while filmmaker Adam Shankman is serving as director.
Badu has previously acted. She has been in Dan Aykroyd and John Goodman’s 1998 movie “Blues Brothers” 2000, and went on to appear in “The Cider House Rules,” and recently, she has voiced characters in animated shows “Black Dynamite” and “Legends of Chamberlain Heights.”
