Faith Evans and producer Stevie J recently got married out of the blue, with many fans, friends and family seeming not to favor the engagement.

What also raised questions was Evans’ marriage certificate, as it excludes her first marriage, and “first true love,” New York legend, Notorious B.I.G. She reportedly told TMZ that she wasn’t responsible for the error and the courts are actually the ones to blame for this one.

In a photo of the official document, only her 1998 marriage is listed with Todd Russaw.

“Biggie was my first true love, he will always be acknowledged as such,” she reportedly told TMZ. “Everyone knows he was my husband.”

Hopefully, the documents are fixed soon.
