Method Man has been promoting his upcoming album, The Meth Lab II: The Lithium, and has decided to put out the first single, “Grand Prix.”
The track is produced by Dame Grease, and is a laid back track which allows him to showcase his lyrical strength. According to a press release, Meth has enlisted fellow Wu-Tang MC’s for the upcoming album.
“I can rhyme my ass off, that ain’t nothin’ new,” he said. “People already knew that, but they just tend to forget. Every now and then you’ve gotta remind them.” he said in a recent interview with HipHopDX.
Meth Lab II was recorded in Staten Island and will drop later this year.
