Although Kobe Bryant’s camp has denied that he’ll be playing in the BIG3 next season, Ice Cube will is not giving up yet.
In a recent interview with ESPN’s Outside The Lines, Cube joked about the approach he’ll be taking to get Kobe to the league.
“To me, he’s the biggest name out there for us to get,” he said. “He’s going to have to get a restraining order on me to leave him alone about this.”
Cube went on to say that he’ll also be taking a calmer approach to bring Kobe on-board.
“I think we just keep doing what we’re doing putting on great basketball and I think we have a lot of retired players looking at our league and they want a piece of this.” He said.
Cube adds on that the league will continue to put on a great product and that if he wants to play, he’ll play.
