Dipset’s Cam’ron and Jim Jones are reportedly receiving backlash from veterans after wearing full military uniform onstage. This incident occurred in New York as the pair wore real ribbons and medals when doing their performance. According to PageSix, many veterans are offended by the garments and voiced their opinions.
“I get performance art, and if you want to wear camo or a [costume] uniform, I have no problem. But if you’re wearing medals and ribbons, it’s crossing a line,” an insider told the PageSix.
Neither Cam or Jim have addressed the backlash they’re receiving. However, video has surfaced of their performance where they’re wearing the uniform.
