According to TMZ, Janet Jackson and her brother Randy Jackson are being sued by their former tour manager Danny O’Donovan. The former manager says the two owe him around $300k in unpaid wages.

O’Donovan was hired on a 17-month contract to manage Jackson’s “State of the World” tour back in 2016. The former manager was to be paid $25k a month and for the first five months of the tour he was paid properly, but in last 12 months, the payments completely stopped. O’Donovan continued to work even though he was not being paid and is now suing for the $300k he says he never received.

Ealier this week it was announced that Jackson would be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame alongside iconic bands such as the Cure, Radiohead, Stevie Nicks, and Def Leppard. Jackson was considered because the organization said she “explored social issues, themes of empowerment and self-confidence, and influenced generations with her stylized music videos with innovative choreography.”

Janet and Randy Jackson have yet to comment on the former-manager situation.
