It’s common for celebrities to posts pictures of themselves every now and then, but you never hear of those artists that get sued for doing so. Well, celebrity photographer Michael Stewart is suing Jennifer Lopez for posting a photo he took of her, without permission.
J Lo posted the picture on her Instagram story, which was the root of the problem between both parties. According to TMZ, Stewart took the picture and later licensed it to a website in June. Stewart says he saw the photo on Lopez’s story and claims nobody from her team reached out to ask for permission to use it.
Stewart is seeking all profits, which amounts to $150k in damages. It doesn’t happen often, but other celebrities that have faced this issue include Blac Chyna and Khloe Kardashian.
