2018 has been an important year for 93.5 KDAY. With multiple interviews, including the likes of DJ Quik, Too Short, Lil Kim and many more, 2018 proved to be the year the station brought quality interviews for their listeners.

Too Short went on to bring one of the standout interviews of the year, mentioning his beginnings and how his mom frowned on his decision to become a rapper. Lil Kim mentioned details on her last days with The Notorious B.I.G. and how she started rapping, became best friends with Left Eye of TLC and many more. These are just two interviews of many that helped bring awareness of who these artists are as people, not just entertainers, but as people who have worked their way up to receive a legendary status.

2019 looks promising for the station and bringing many more of these interviews to KDAY Nation is a priority we strive to make happen.
