LeBron James has not played a game since last year’s Christmas win over the Golden State Warriors, but it appears he should be back soon.
According to the Lakers’ Twitter account, James has been cleared to return to practice next week. These need come after being evaluated by the Lakers’ medical staff and physicians Wednesday morning.
When discussing when LeBron would make his return, LeBron’s agent, Rich Paul, told The Athletic that the “best-case scenario was three weeks, the worst-case was six weeks, and we’re right on schedule.” This last Tuesday marked three weeks since James’ injury, so hopefully he’ll get back in the court soon.
I don’t think he’s going to play against the Warriors, folks. Assuming that’s true, he will have missed more games (14) than in any previous season. pic.twitter.com/AjR3sE03Vq

The Lakers have lost seven of their last 11 games, tying with the Utah Jazz for eighth in the Western Conference.
