Kanye West has been teasing his upcoming album, “Yandhi” for some time now, and it appears be assisted by some R&B legends. West has already been seen in studio with the likes of Lil Wayne, Timbaland and many more. Now, it appears Ye might be adding some gospel to the album, as 112 teases the possibility.
In a recent interview with TMZ, Slim of 112 talked about their recent meeting with Kanye. According to Slim, the meeting was more about spirituality than music, although music was brought up. The singer went on to suggest that there might be new music in the near future with the two acts.
“We talked about a lot of things. There was a situation that’s going on spiritually that he’s involved himself in as far as church going on. It was kind of like the way I was raised. I was raised non-denominational,” he said. “You could take music that’s going on right now and you change it and you put, you know, the Lord, Jesus, you know, make it Christian.“
Slim went on to suggest the possible collaboration, while calling West a “musical genius.”
