Da Brat was involved in an altercation with Shayla Stevens, who sued the rapper after Brat smashed a bottle on her head at a nightclub. Shayla was awarded a 6.4 million judgment, but having not paid it, it went up to $8 million. Shayla hasn’t received any money since Da Brat filed for bankruptcy but Shayla is still determined to get her money one way or another.

According to The Blast, Shayla says Da Brat “acted with willful misconduct” when she assaulted her and has since not done anything to pay up. Shayla even requested receipts from Mariah Carey and Jermaine Dupri to see if theuy were financially supporting Da Brat or hiding money from her records.

Shayla is now currently fighting for her lawsuit to not be tossed out, considering Da Brat filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy last year.

The rapper has yet to comment on the case.
