The Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Clippers put on one of the best NBA playoff series this season. The Warriors ended up winning the series, which was at times carried by Kevin Durant who has been averaging 35.6 points per game in the playoffs. So far, Durant has proven to be unstoppable in the playoff games, which is something Clippers’ player Patrick Beverley made sure to point out.
Beverley and Durant had a rivalry going on during the series, which ultimately led to the latter winning the battle in the end. Beverley recently took to NBA TV to share his thoughts on KD. According to Beverley, there isn’t a player in the NBA better than the Warriors scorer.
“I’ve guarded a lot of people,” Beverley said. “I went home and I told my friends, ‘He is the best player in the NBA hands down. It’s not even close.’ He saw something and he went at it every single time. That’s a killer mindset.”
