The BIG3 basketball league is gearing up for its strongest season yet. As the teams managed to make big adjustments going into 2019, Ice Cube has been vocal on these changes throughout the past couple of months. One of these changes includes lowering the minimum age requirements from 30 to 27, and the expansion from 8 teams to 12.

Ice Cube also managed to double the regular season to allow for two games a week, which would greatly increase its viewership. Aside from this, the league will also allow international talent to join, not just former NBA stars. The league is set to take place in 18 different basketball markets in the United States for this upcoming season.

With these new changes, Cube has officially released the “BIG3 Season 3 Theme Song,” which features him rapping while naming the teams and head coaches. Season 3 of the BIG3 league is set to kick tip-off this Saturday at the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. Following this upcoming weekend, the BIG3 will air every Saturday and Sunday on CBS and CBS Sports Network.
