Lloyd and Roshon Fegan recently stopped by the KDAY Morning Show with Cece & Romeo to talk about their upcoming film, “The Bobby DeBarge Story.”
Lloyd went on to talk about how this upcoming film would be his acting debut and how he managed to transition from the singer, to the actor. “The hardest part is eliminating fear out of your system. I think no matter what you’re doing, especially if it’s for the first time, you allow yourself [time] to develop anxiety, you allow yourself you overthink a lot of time and then when you do that, you under perform. The real challenge was to let go of things I can’t control,” he said.
The film is directed by legendary radio personality, Russ Parr, and both Lloyd and Roshon salute the man for the help they’ve received. Lloyd mentions how Parr took the singer on his first music tour when he was 17 and how the director will also put him in his first movie role.
Cece then asked Lloyd if he would be open to act after this, to which he said that” this is a moment for me to test the waters.”
The Bobby DeBarge Story is set to premiere on June 29th on TV One.
