T.I. has been a vocal advocate of social justice issues for quite some time now. In order to talk about these issues more, he has started his new ExpediTIously podcast to highlight the problems, as he felt his social media platform and reactions weren’t “robust enough to flush out” the ideas.
“In order to give those ideas a fair chance to breathe, I think my opinion requires a little more time and dialogue,” he said.
The rapper debuted the first episode on Apple Music, featuring LL Cool J, Ice Cube and Tiny. The podcast has since jumped to #1 on the charts, with a new conversation with Freeway Rick Ross set to be released soon.
In a recent interview with People, Tip also mentioned how he feels about sharing his new ideas on the platform.
“I feel like me being able to share my opinions, views and perspective, there’s a freedom that comes with that and I really do appreciate it. I’m looking forward to it,” he said.
