The Clippers undoubtedly had the best off season for the NBA this year. With this, they formed one of the league’s best duos as teammates, making them one of the favorites to win the NBA title in the 2019-20 season.
With NBA teams creating powerful duos, the league quickly became loaded with contenders, such as the Lakers’ LeBron James and Anthony Davis, Houston’s Russell Westbrook and James Harden and Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant out in Brooklyn to name a few. During the Clippers’ Media Day this past Sunday, Paul George gave his input of why he thinks that he and Kawhi are the best duo in the league. George said that the team is elite on both ends of the floor which separates them from other squads in the league.
Last season, George averaged 28 points per game to go along with 8.2 rebounds, 4.1 assists and a league-best 2.2 steals. On the other hand, Kawhi led the Toronto Raptors to their first-ever NBA championship, so Paul might have a point here.
