Anthony Davis has quickly made an impact with the Los Angeles Lakers squad. Having paired up with LeBron James has allowed for the team to have a record of 7-2 at the moment and remain at the top of the Western Conference. However, it appears that the Lakers are counting on Davis to stay healthy for the remainder of the season.
With this, Davis has been known to have suffered many injuries throughout his career. Fans had been concerned as to whether or not he would be able to play the full 82 games, and the question still remains.
In a recent report by The Athletic, Davis revealed that he is still suffering from some lingering pain but has been playing through it all season. “There’s really never a play I don’t feel it,” Davis said. “But I’m going to go out there and play, I try not to let it affect my game. I just play through it and then worry about taking care of it after the game.”
It would be unfortunate for Davis to go down this season due to injury.
