Chico DeBarge, the singer introduced in the 80’s for his hit single “Talk to Me” will most likely need to talk to a lawyer soon. The younger brother of the DeBarge group was busted for drug possession earlier in November in the city of Burbank, California. Authorities claim that the singer was caught using a piece of wire to unlock an SUV in a local Walmart parking lot.

They approached DeBarge, as they thought he was trying to break in, which is when the police checked him and found meth in his pockets. Not only was he carrying methamphetamine, the cops also found other drug substances in the SUV.

Chico was booked at the Burbank City Jail before being released. The charges are pending review by the City Attorney.
