Not only is LeBron James one of the best basketball players of all time, he’s also a huge hip hop fanatic. Week after week, the Lakers star can be seen vibing to new tracks and albums of the week. This wasn’t any different with The Game’s new album.
In a recent interview with “The People’s Party” with Talib Kweli, Game talked about how LeBron inspired him to get back in the studio after “Born 2 Rap.” The rapper said, “When he gets to the gym, to the Lakers’ training facility… In there with his shirt off, memorizing the song that’s not the single. I felt like ‘I gotta do this again.’”
Not only had LeBron been vibing to new music, he’s been playing exceptionally well this season. The former Cavs player has been averaging a total of 25.9 points, 10.8 assists, 6.8 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game. His Lakers also have the best record in the NBA, with a total of 21-3.
The Game says @KingJames inspired him to rap again. That’s respect 🐐
