Kendrick Lamar’s upcoming fifth album may be right around the corner, as new rumors have surfaced regarding the possible project. Considering how much time has spent since Kendrick last dropped an album and how not many details have surfaced, the highly-anticipated album will surely do great numbers when it’s released.
On Saturday morning, Billboard columnist, Bill Werde, tweeted about the project. “Did anyone not named Beyonce release better, more meaningful back-to-back albums last decade than Kendrick Lamar? Are you interested to know that I hear from several friends that recording on the new album may finally be done? And that he’s pulling in more rock sounds this time?,” he tweeted.
Although Werde tweeted this, it doesn’t mean Lamar has fully completed the album or that it is ready for its release. “Also, just to be clear, just because recording had hit a point where folks believe it may be finished — albums go back to the studio all the time after this point, and for a million different reasons.”
