With each day, there are new developments for the global health emergency that is occurring right now admist the Coronavirus pandemic. Both the Mayor of Los Angles Eric Garrett and the Governor of Cali officially issuing mandates to stay home and avoid all unessential events, many are starting to grow more concerned with what is expected in the weeks and even months to come.
Just in California alone, there have been more than 1,000 cases reported for positive testing of the COVID-19 illness. As the new mandate urges everyone statewide to continue to practice self distancing and isolation from others, the new order does not necessarily mean you must withdraw from all daily life routines. Depending on your current job situation, you are allowed to travel to work, you are allowed to go out to exercise, pick up groceries, travel to take care of family and friends who are in need and much more. While you are not permitted to travel abroad, maintain less than 6 feet of distance from others when out, visit loved ones any type of hospital setting, etc.
As reported by by Johns Hopkins University there have been over 82,000 people around the world who have recovered from from coronavirus, and while this number will increase, officials are urging people to not lose sight.
It was also announced earlier today by the U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin that the tax day has been moved from April 15th to July 15th. Mnuchin stated in a tweet, “All taxpayers and businesses will have this additional time to file and make payments without interest or penalties.”
As many of us have been hit with unexpected job loss and reduced hours, it was also announced on Wednesday by Donald Trump that the Department of Housing and Urban Development will suspend “all foreclosures and evictions” through the end of April.
