It was only yesterday we shared news that hip hop legend Eric B’s daughter Erica Barrier was in critical condition following a car accident with an 18-wheeler truck which occurred last week in Hartford, CT.
It is with sad news to report that the 28-year-old had succumbed to her life-threatening injuries Monday evening, passing away at 6:18pm. Erica suffered neck and spine injuries which left her tragically in critical condition.
According to VIBE, Eric B’s publicist issued the following statement:
It is with profound sadness and disbelief that we announce the untimely passing of our beloved Erica Supreme Barrier at 6:18pm EST Monday evening. She fought a valiant fight, however, we TRUST GOD & HIS ultimate decision to bring her home.
Eric took to his Instagram to remember his late daughter with a tribute video of the two sharing a moment together on stage.
We are sending our deepest condolences to Eric B and his family and friends during this difficult time of mourning.
