Piece Of Staples Center Court Kobe Bryant Signed During Final Game Being Auctioned Off

In the wake of the news that Vanessa Bryant would be suing the Los Angeles County Sheriff, it was announced that the late Lakers legend Kobe Bryant would have a special momento auctioned off.

What marked Bryant’s last final appearance in a Lakers jersey, April 13, 2016, as the basketball veteran played his last game before retiring, and scoring 60 points against the Utah Jazz, Mamba signed a piece of the Staples Center flooring to commemorate the historic night. One lucky fan will now have the chance to have this moment last forever as the section that Kobe signed is be auctioned off before an October 3rd closing. As the current bid currently sites at a hefty $210,000,the price is sure to climb closer to the deadline date.

Before walking away from his last moments on the court, Kobe signed two portions of the specially crafted court, the signed No. 24 portion has actually been installed at the exclusive Lakers’ practice facility in El Segundo, leaving the No. 8 portion available to the highest bider.

A towel that Bryant draped around his shoulders that same night was auctioned off in early March for a whopping $33,000.
