Trailblazer and hip-hop legend Lil’ Kim has without changed the dynamic of female rap, fashion and the culture when she first took her reign as the only femcee in the late Biggie Small’s Junior M.A.F.I.A. While the iconic artist has hinted for years that she would soon share her true story on her own terms, this coming November, the Brooklyn-bred native will release the tell-all memoir ‘Lil Kim: The Queen Bee”.
The Grammy winner announced via People that the memoir, written along with Kathy Iandoli, will be published by Hachette Books on November 2nd. In her statement to People, Kim stated, “I’m excited to finally get to tell my story after all this time. Many people have thought they knew the story of Lil’ Kim, but they have no idea.” The vet also took to Instagram to share the news with her fans adding, “”IT’S FINALLY HERE!! That’s right, the book, Lil’ Kim The Queen Bee Life Story. I’m so excited to announce my memoir dropping in November!! You thought you knew me but you have no idea.”
The Queen Bee is now available for pre-order through Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
