Last week, Swizz Beatz shared the final album from the late DMX, which features sole production from the famed-producer and long time friend of X. While fans continue to sit with the posthumous release, the star-filled project boasts huge names from hip-hop, so of course the incomparable Jay-Z’s appearance has a lot of people talking.
Featured on the Exodus track ‘Bath Salts”, the Roc Nation huncho made a couple of heads turn when he referenced Kim Kardashian in his latest verse. Spitting over the track, Jay raps, “Every girl I see wanna be wifey like that/ I’m the King of Zamunda, uh, King of the Summer/ Come be my Kardashian, Queen of the come-up.” Twitter erupted with their thoughts on the Kardashian name drop, as in the past there’s been rumors that Jay’s wife, Beyonce, has had some long-standing tension with the Kardasian mogul. Fans noted that with the current state of Kim and Kanye West’s pending divorce, many questioned how long HOV actually held out using the bar.
