Back in December 2020, Bow Wow was pushing for BET to bring him on in a possible executive position to help with the company’s rebranding to focus on a “106 & Park” Revival and even more music-based programming. Well, fast forward to 2021, and it looks like Bow has moved on from the idea of helping revive the BET network.

As the rap vet has a lot to look forward to with an upcoming Verzuz battle against the popular and viral Soulja Boy, the hopes of taking a chair at the head of BET isn’t likely. Six months ago, Bow tweeted, “My only dream job now is i want to take over BET. I want a high position. I was blessed to host but NOW i want an office. I want to run and come up with content for the network.” For those who were anticipating this possible new move, the multi-platinum artist explained to his fan why it’s pretty much a wrap.
