If you are tapped in on the Gram, then you know that Snoop Dogg’s official account is always a go-to when you need a good laugh or see what the multi-faceted legend is up to in his career.
With the popularity of NFT’s continuously growing with more attention and demand, it was only made sense that Snoop would find his way to get his hands into the budding digital assets realm.
Just a few days ago, Snoop let the cat out of the bag when he claimed to be the owner behind the NFT Twitter account @CozomoMedici. The account had garnered interest with well-documented speculation and ownership of more than 140 NFT’s, according to Billboard, and prior to Snoop Dogg’s confirmation, the then-anonymous account hinted that the identity of the account owner would be revealed.

Snoop tweeted out, “I am @CozomoMedici,” just five minutes after the user behind the NFT account promised they would reveal their identity. Since launching back in August, the account, which is named after the famed Italian banker and patron of the arts Cosimo de’ Medici, garnered significant interest due to its owner’s well-documented speculation in the NFT space. According to @CozomoMedici’s OpenSea account, they currently own over 140 NFTs, some of which were purchased for millions of dollars in the cryptocurrency Ethereum.
With several clues indicating that Snoop is the owner of the account, it looks as though this may not be the case, as Snoop’s messaged was flagged by social media user and there was a photo of the suspecting Cozomo, who appears to be a white man, with singer Jason Derulo.
