Late last week, news broke the internet that the legend Dr. Dre would be headlining the Super Bowl LVI Pepsi Halftime Show with featured KDAY legends Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar!

While the news was a huge moment for not only hip-hop, but West Coast influence on music as well, the topic of who else would be great additions and no-brainers to make appearances with the list of stars. Many argued that Ice Cube should definitely be present for one of the biggest nights in television, and the late Eazy-E’s daughter Ebie has come to share her request for her father’s acknowledgment during the performance.

Speaking with TMZ, Ebie tells the news outlet that she believes E would be a part of the lineup if he were alive and also states that Eazy would be proud seeing himself as an extension of Compton icons Dr. Dre and Kendrick Lamar. Ebie further details to TMZ that she knows the halftime show isn’t long, especially trying to fit the lineup of megastars in a roughly 20-minute slot, but she would hope for a simple “R.I.P Eazy-E” could somehow happen, as a way to acknowledge her father’s role in opening so many doors for hip-hop and many artists today, especially since the Super Bowl will be held at the SoFi Stadium, in the city where gangsta rap was born.
