After holding the title for seven years straight, Diddy just got dethroned by Jay Z, who now holds the number one spot on the Forbes’ Five list.
Counting down the top 5 wealthiest hip-hop artists, Jay Z replaces Diddy’s reign, as the Brooklyn native raked in a net worth of $900 million. Mostly due to Hov’s business deals with his management company Roc Nation, his streaming service TIDAL, as well as his Armand deBrignac champagne and D’Ussé cognac.
Bad Boy mogul Diddy falls to number two with earning $825 million.
Dre, Drake, and Eminem round out the list.
