Although he’s still on the On The Run Tour II, Jay-Z has been in an ongoing court battle with perfume company, Parlux Fragrance. Jay was hit with an 18 million dollar lawsuit after claims that he failed to promote one of the company’s fragrances, titled “Gold.”

Hov’s lawyers have argued that he did not intend to neglect his promises to the company, but instead was overwhelmed with the amount of work that was asked from him. He was asked to appear in shows like “Good Morning America.” Thus, Jay’s lawyers are claiming he was unable to make promote the product.

After news of the lawsuit broke, Hov proceeded to counter-sue the perfume company, saying that they’ve been with-holding 2 years’ worth of royalties from him. The judge has decided that they have 2 weeks to resolve issues between themselves.
