Following the Lakers’ defeat to the Minnesota Timberwolves, LeBron James was asked what he was like as a leader when his patience runs out.
“We’ve got to get better. We know that. We talk about patience but you can’t have reoccurrence of the same thing,” James told reporters. “If you are doing the same things over and over and over and expecting the same result then that’s insanity.”
“So we have to get better. We can’t keep having the same mistakes over and over.”
“You probably don’t want to be around when my patience runs out,” James continued. “I’m serious.”
It’s a steady progress for the Laker squad as they are still in the rebuilding process. Lakers’ head coach Luke Walton added by saying the team has “to get better at the little things. One of those things is paying attention to details, following game plans.”
