There have been multiple rumors of Carmelo Anthony signing with the Lakers, and now it seems like it might happen. Having just been traded to Chicago, he’ll become a free agent soon with reports indicating that his next destination will be Los Angeles.
According to Bovada, the Lakers are favorites to sign Melo once he’s a free agent. Other teams like the Portland Trail Blazers, Miami Heat and Philadelphia 76ers are also on the list to land Melo, but it’s all speculation as of now.
Carmelo hasn’t played since November, 2018, with the Bulls set to hold off on waiving him until the NBA trade deadline on February 7.
