It seems like Mariah Carey is set to extend her legendary musical legacy after recently dropping her fifteenth studio album, Caution back in November of 2018. While the singer was in Barcelona on Monday performing at Festival Jardins de Pedralbes, she revealed that new music would be on the way soon.
Mariah even mentioned that she was in the studio with longtime collaborator, Trey Lorenz, who features with Mariah on “I’ll Be There.”
This comes as news, considering artists from Mariah’s era typically didn’t release albums back-to-back, but times have changed. The heavy emphasis in singles has encouraged artists to release music much more frequently, which is what Carey will be looking to do.
