Kobe Bryant is certainty one of the greatest NBA players of all time. Bryant played his entire 20-year career with the Lakers and has won a total of 5 NBA Championships. Despite his successful career with the Los Angeles squad, Bryant didn’t always get along with his fellow teammates. One, in particular, was Dwight Howard. Howard’s Lakers journey was short-lived in the 2012-2013 season. However, Howard recently signed a contract to rejoin his infamous former team.
According to Howard, he’s ready to prove his haters wrong this season. In recent interview with The Talk, Bryant showed his support for Howard as he explained that he’s changed since his time with the Lakers back in 2012.
“I think he’s ready. He’s ready for this next time around, do whatever is necessary to help the team be successful,” Kobe said, “and I think he’ll do it.”
Since he left in 2012, Howard has joined the Houston Rockets, Atlanta Hawks, Charlotte Hornets, and Washington Wizards. There is no doubt that eyes will be on Howard this season, but according to his rep, he is ready to prove doubters wrong.
