Kanye West is no stranger to controversy. Whether it be his TMZ comments on slavery or him meeting with President Donald Trump, West is a polarizing figure in our society.
Kanye’ was recently booked for the “Awaken 2020 Evangelical” event going down in Phoenix, Arizona this Saturday and it’s rubbing some activists the wrong way. It appears that the group who organized the event and some headliners are known for their anti-LGBTQ speech.
Some Twitter users have already expressed their disappointment with Kanye agreeing to headline the event.
