Back in 2018, Lifetime released a biopic called “Whitney” which received a lot of backlash. Whitney Houston’s family even filled a lawsuit. Since then there has not been a new biopic and Clive Davis shared with Los Angeles Times that he wants to re create a Whitney biopic.

Clive told La Times, “The story of Whitney Houston has not been told yet.” He shared that he was very interested in Whitney and he also offered access to his Rolodex and archive of material related to Houston.

He is extatic to begin working on this bipoic and wants to have the best writers and directors. No further details have been released yet on when he will start nor who would be working on the biopic.
