Early last month, fans of the late Phife Dawg were blessed with the new single “Nutshell Pt. 2”, which features Busta Rhymes and Redman. While the song was an official launch into the ground work being laid for the posthumous album release that is expected sometime this year, Phife’s estate has just now released an accompanying visual for “Nutshell Pt. 2”, on the fifth year anniversary of the rapper’s passing.

The new visual highlights the classic hip-hop era that the legendary A Tribe Called Quest member helped establish wth his successful group. While Phife is no longer here with us, his presence is felt more than ever as his peers Redman and Busta appear by his side spitting bars in what looks to be their own cypher.
Directed by Tony Reames, the “Nutshell Pt. 2” video clip is a reminder of the legacy Phife has left behind as well as the nostalgic look back at the incredible talent and magic that all three emcess came together to create.
