What better way to celebrate the 4/20 moment than with one of the members of the legendary Bone THugs-N-Harmony group, Krayzie Bone.
Chopping it up with Cece and Romeo, of the KDAY Morning Show, Krayzie fills us in on everything that’s kept him busy during the pandemic, which includes new music and new additions for his cannabis venture, and the rapper also talks about losing the late DMX and former Bad Boy artist Black Rob.
Sadly, hip-hop has dealt with the tragic losses of rap greats DMX and Black Rob in just a week apart. While we continue to celebrate their musical life and legacy, Krayzie shares the best memories he made with DMX while on tour and also reminisces on meeting Black Rob for the first time. Krayzie also reflects on Thugs’ late friend and mentor Eazy-E sharing how ahead of his time former N.W.A. icon was and also reveals that much of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony’s first two albums were already lyrically written, but Eazy’s mentorship solidified the group’s projects with studio time, production, and development.
With many of our hip-hop greats receiving their flowers and getting the ability to share their career and life stories on their own terms, Krayzie speaks on the developing stages of band’s docu series that’s in the works and also goes on to speak about the Verzuz battle that never happened between Bone Thugs and Three 6 Mafia.
