Oakland rapper Too $hort is getting a street named after him. Foothill Boulevard between High Street and 47th Avenue will be better known as “Too $Hort Way,” this is all made possible because of a recommendation from Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf and Councilmember Noel Gallo “There’s an understanding that we should recognize him, based not only on his talent and contributions but also just honoring and respecting those who have come before us and given back to the city,” Gallo
